Brittany Maynard and physician-assisted suicide

Not sure where to put this. It seems many of the arguments against her choice are religious in nature , but more people will see it here.

The 29-year-old was diagnosed with Gliobastoma, the deadliest form of brain cancer, and given just 14 months to live. She was told by doctors that her death would likely be slow and painful. Maynard decided she will end her life November 1, 2 days after her husband’s birthday. She and her family moved to Oregon, one of the few states in the U.S. with a “Death with Dignity Act.” She told People that she will dissolve 100 capsules of secobarbital in water and drink it, ending her life in a “peaceful and painless” way.

I'm all for the terminally ill to have the right to physician-assisted suicide.
