WMP12 was acting up on me. No surprise there.
Went to end it via Task Manager.
Noticed it was the 32 bit version of WMP12.
Why not 64bit?
Looked around on the net, learned both versions are there, 32 bit is the default, difficult to get it to switch, apparently.
Sure enough, we have a Windows Media Player folder in Program Files (X86), and in Program Files.
I unpinned the 32bit wmplayer program the taskbar.
I pinned the 64bit wmplayer version to the taskbar.
It seems to always use the 64bit version of WMP now.
Seems like once you run the 64 bit wmplayer.exe, the OS then defaults to it?
