But I'm interested what ever came of pieces "being sent off to labs for analysis", "USGS and NASA have been contacted regarding possible advice", and a "3d imaging of the crater and surrounding area, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and a magnetometer grid study".
Did the officials just bury this out of embarrassment or what?
