The El Faro, a 735 foot vessel, is missing at sea after putting out a distress call Thu morning that they had lost propulsion and were taking on water. This was when they were in the eye of Hurricane Joaquin, near Crooked Island in the Bahamas. (never mind the wisdom of taking a ship through a cat 4 hurricane...) Someone associated with the ship's owner said it was 'very odd' that there was no sign of the ship, since it had a marine transponder, Sat phone, and GPS locator on board. 33 crew are missing with the ship. A quick look at the map reveals that the ship was solidly within the "Bermuda Triangle" when it sent out its distress call. So, take that, Randi, mystery solved: aliens have grabbed the El Faro. :jaw-dropp
