I am amazed no vertical Integration....

I am amazed that neither Nikon nor Canon has made a serious run to vertically integrate the microprocessor industry. I figure Canon or Nikon is relatively cash rich and have got enough photo-lithography experience to catch up with ASML as well as purchase AMD: and I figure this would be a killer combination that could put Intel under extreme pressure.

Maybe there is something I just don't see.
