Just found an interesting article on BBC news - http://ift.tt/1ksDDtG - on whether Dinosaurs were warm (endotherms) or cold (ectotherms) blooded. It seems they were neither! A third category - mesotherms - has been proposed. It seems that several living species could also fit into this new category. Really rather interesting.
