I'd like to for a moment investigate what sort of election we might see with each of these candidates, respectively vs Donald Trump. Here's how I see it going down:
Hillary: The way I see a Trump campaign -vs- Hillary Clinton operating would be as an anti-corruption sort of campaign in the style of Reagan. Trump would have the same strength that Bernie does, in that he has not taken Super Pac money or money from other billionaires. His campaign has largely been self funded and will continue along the same lines. In addition to taking money from billlionaires, we've got all the usual Clinton scandals, whether there's anything behind them or not. Honestly, I'm thinking that Hillary is extremely vulnerable in this area.
In this case, we've got the Republican candidate stealing the "money in politics" issue that the Democrats have been harping on for like forever, and having the stronger candidate.
Bernie: Both candidates are running partially on a "get money out of politics" platform. However, in this case Trump is an actual billionaire who has participated in the issue from the other end -- spending corporate money on elections.
In addition, we've got somebody that has already been repeatedly called a racist and a fascist (Trump) -vs- a Jew who had family killed in the Holocaust.
Does anybody else see a problem with thinking that Hillary is the stronger candidate in this sort of election?
