Good old 19th century medicine

I always love all the old adds from the 19th century for products that include fun active ingredients. You know, things like cocaine in Coke, etc.

An "herbal" cough syrup. Containing morphine.

As the article notes, the bizarre thing in the press release from the FDA is their focus on the fact it wasn't declared on the label.

So it would have been allowed if they had just labeled it so?

Then again, at least here's an herbal concoction that probably actually works.
