Is the polarization in the USA growing or has it reach its peak?

I am not american, but the present polarization of the US political climate is worrying to me. A paralyzed america is, imho, bad for the whole world. So my question is this:



Do you, as Americans, have the feeling, that the polarization has reached its peak or is it still growing?
