Sexism in Space: How shirt designs keep women out of space exploration

So they just landed that probe on a comet, but clearly there are more important things than that. Like shirt designs:

"I don't care if you landed a spacecraft on a comet, your shirt is sexist and ostracizing"

First thought that was meant as a joke, but they are serious about it. As is the astrophysicist quoted in the article "Philae researcher criticized for shirt covered in scantily clad women":

"I don't care what scientists wear. But a shirt featuring women in lingerie isn't appropriate for a broadcast if you care about women in STEM", "You think a shirt like this makes women feel welcome? I don't".

Because that's what astrophysics is about, ie. making women feel welcome. While I don't deny there is sexism in science, I dare say that there are a few people whose priorities make them look unprofessional. Landing a probe on a comet takes a level of dedication that astrophysicists who are more concerned with making everything about their fee-fees probably lack, and perhaps that's why the field doesn't enthusiastically welcome them.
