I have stated on this forum that IMO we live in a simulation, and that our virtual reality is the dream of an Ultimate Intelligent Creator. And that, as part of that simulation, there is God, Satan and the supernatural.
How can humankind know that this is the Ultimate Reality?
The Ultimate Creator and God do not want certainty that this is so. However, people are losing faith in miracles and God, so God needs to permit a hypothesis that is feasible according to modern science and understanding.
Firstly, there needs to be information that this is a strong possibility. Secondly, there needs to be unrepeatable demonstrations that the laws of physics and probability appear to be able to be broken now and then. These would be anecdotal in order to avoid scientific proof.
I have experienced the first, although I do not expect people to believe it was a real experience.
I am experiencing the second in a number of events that are seemingly beyond even astronomical chance, especially when the probability of a sequence of them happening to one person is taken into account.
Let me give an example of not-so-hidden intelligences manipulating what might seem to be chance. One we know to be obvious. Google anything and see what comes up. Use Youtube and see the suggested videos. They relate to our recent internet activity. Why?
Because the browsing systems are using algorithms to determine what you are currently interested in. I was searching for Swing Dance videos, and did not expect a video about a scientist discussing simulated reality to appear in the side list. It did, because I visited a site regarding this topic recently.
Science is becoming more and more accepting of the possibility that we live in a simulation set up by advanced humankind and/or machines. The cosmos could just be machine generated for our benefit. Why could that simulation not be done by a metaphysical Creator?
In a simulation of any sorts, God and the supernatural are possible.
