A fairly common theme in the conspiracy theory field is the idea of revolutionary technologies being concealed from the public. Cures for cancer, free energy, superintelligent machines and so forth. With the exception of certain military/national security stuff, are there any documented cases of modern governments or big corporations actually concealing major technologies from the public?
