So, Texas is considering restrictions on asset forfeiture that would require conviction before the assets in question can be seized:
"Two Texas senators have offered legislation this year to require conviction before someone's assets could be seized. Sen. Konni Burton, a Republican who often pushes civil-liberties legislation to protect personal information and property, was a fierce critic of Trump during the campaign."
So, when the Comandante Boor-o was informed of this by a Texas sheriff, the thread title was his response:
"Do you want to give his name? We'll destroy his career"

What a philosopher. Just who do those pinko politicians think they are proposing conviction before forfeiture? why have any trial for anything? we know who the guilty ones are! It'll be wonderful! huuuge! ;)
(In case sarcasm escapes people, I've never been in favor of asset forfeiture outside of conviction.)
