Changing stance from CT to official story, or from official story to CT

The first nine posts originated in the JFK thread and were sent to AAH, but at the request of one of the participants have since been edited to remove rule breaches and returned to C&CT to discuss the question raised therein.

[W]hy do you think it is so rare (or almost literally unprecedented) for lone nut aficionados to "convert" to the conspiracy side of any issue concerning political conspiracy research?
