Who would the Libertarians help or hurt?

According to CNN, the Libertarian party is the only third party that will be on the ballot in all 50 states. Former two-term New Mexico governor Gary Johnson is a leading candidate for the nomination, and former Massachusetts governor William Weld has expressed interest in serving as his VP. Both were widely respected during their time in office, and both have been outspokenly critical of Trump. Both support abortion rights, gay rights, immigration reform, an end to the war on drugs, etc. Question: If two ex-Republican governors with strong records as fiscal conservatives and social liberals run on the Libertarian ticket, will they draw more votes from Trump or Clinton?
