Bluetooth Lag and the lack of a headphone jack on mobile devices.

So here's a question.

A lot of mobile devices; phones and tablets, don't have the good old 3.5mm headphone jack anymore. Sound either comes from the units built in speakers (which even on the absolute best devices are not that good) or use an external Bluetooth speaker / headphone.

So here's my problem. Bluetooth introduces a 2-3 second lag. If sound is being piped to a Bluetooth device it's never going to sync with the video. No matter if it's Youtube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, whether it's streaming or downloaded, whether it's a 500 dollar pair of Beats by AppleBose headphones or a 5 dollar Bluetooth speaker shaped like Spongebob the lag is always there.

So device manufacturers... what is the "proper" way for users to watch videos on your devices? A USB-C to 3.5mm adapter dongle? That's a workaround, not a solution.
