In this story on CNN discussing heat waves in India, we see an example of quite possibly the worst mix-up with units that I have ever seen:
They actually did not understand the difference between an absolute temperature reading and a difference in temperature with respect to C to F conversion. :boggled:
A difference of 4.5 C is not the same as a difference of 40 F. Not even close!
