Anonymity and the JREF

When I joined the JREF, the introduction information invited me to create my “Public profile which I did. I mentioned where and when I was born, and how old I was. I also gave a few details about about my profession, hobby interests, and where I resided, hoping this might help other members understand the person behind the “post”.

I personally I feel this could be important.

My question is this.

Do members of the JREF think it would be beneficial to be less anonymous, and if one where to be less annoymus might this not help others better understand who we are behind the veil, where this veil frequently leads to misunderstandings, false accusations or just leaves the member guessing, ofttimes wrongly.

I would rather be Wilfred May, than Jack O' Lantern sifting through cosmic debris at the end of galaxy,if you get my drift?

Who is this bloke anyway who leaves a bit of paper stuck on the wall of the office kitchen

stating, “Please wash up after you, but never gives his name?
