Clearly, much to the delight of the scoffers, 2012 has long come and gone and yet Bottsrgeddon did not arrive. This of course has been exceedingly puzzling to the true adherents to the writings of Archimedes, particularly in light of the fact that Bottsrsgeddon scholars have devoted their lives to the study of the timing and details of bottsrgeddon.
Placing their faith in the teachings of Archimedes who said, “Mathematics reveals its secrets only to those who approach it with pure love, for its own beauty,” these learned men have poured over the calculations again and again, and each time the answer always comes up 2012. Adherents have had to endure some two years of perplexity. How could the Bottsrgeddon calculations clearly and infallibly point to the year 2012 and yet we are now in 2014 and Bottsrgeddon has not arrived?
Could the scholars be wrong? Could the writings of Archimedes be wrong? Happily this period of disquietude has been assuaged with the soothing balm of epiphany. Perhaps at no time in all of history has that one word made famous by the master himself, eureka, been more à propos than now!
