FAA-Government out of Control

Recently, the so-called "Drones" have been in the news: an idiot crashed on ATT Stadium (Home of the Cowboys), one buzzed folks at Seattle's Space Needle, and other instances have occurred

For less than $200 US, you can buy a ready-to-go quad-copter, with cameras, that requires no knowledge, training, or even intelligence to fly-anywhere you want.

The FAA, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that the Congressional Mandate of 2012 does not apply, and the best way to stop this nonsense is to ground and/or strictly regulate ALL model aircraft, including subjecting them to some Full-Scale regulations, at the whim of the FAA.

They have extended the Public Comment time by 60 days--for the Model enthusiasts and AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) take, see http://ift.tt/1ukNby2

For the proposed regulations, see:

This is not dissimilar to the Idiot's approach to anything: If someone abuses it, take it away from law-abiding citizens.
