For less than $200 US, you can buy a ready-to-go quad-copter, with cameras, that requires no knowledge, training, or even intelligence to fly-anywhere you want.
The FAA, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that the Congressional Mandate of 2012 does not apply, and the best way to stop this nonsense is to ground and/or strictly regulate ALL model aircraft, including subjecting them to some Full-Scale regulations, at the whim of the FAA.
They have extended the Public Comment time by 60 days--for the Model enthusiasts and AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) take, see http://ift.tt/1ukNby2
