A Qatar passenger flight was due to land at Manchester this afternoon.
Passengers notice an RAF fighter escorting them.
They only found out what was happening because a passenger was tweeting as it happened, and the TV news covered his text, pics and videos, ( fighter rather close to wing of the Airbus!).
The passengers watched the news on their iDevices to keep up with what was going on.
The pilot sqwauked an emergency as a passenger had indicated he had an explosive device.
Said passenger got quite a nice armed greeting on touchdown.
