Basically, prepare debunking comments ahead of time and on the 11th monitor social media sites and paste your comments.
Nothing earth-shattering, but here's an example method:
1. Select one or more discussion boards: newspaper discussion sections, Twitter, Reddit, Youtube, local sections.
2. Learn how to use the search function on these.
3. Search for previous truther discussions.
4. Prioritize discussion boards based on the number of previous truther discussions.
5. Obtain or create one or more accounts on each board.
6. Start engaging in background activity with each account. Talk about sports, politics or whatever you like. Don't mention 911.
7. Select a number of 911 truther claims, depending on your background and taste. If you're a pilot or into flying, you'll obviously have to debunk flight-related stuff. If you're more into chemisttry, you may want to debunk nanothermite crap. Etc.
8. Prepare some "master" comments that debunk truther claims. Keep them short and to the point. For each comment, prepare a list of references. Write them in Notepad or Word or any other text editor, save them on your computer.
9. For each master comment, create variants by altering the wording, the order of sentences, and selecting a different subset of references. Add in a couple typos. The reason is that it is easy for spam detection systems to detect identical or nearly-identical content but much more expensive to match close but different content. It also gives the illusion of variety.
Number these variants and save them in a text file.
10. On day D, start monitoring the discussion boards. Make liberal use of the search function.
11. When you find truther content, try to see how likely it is to be seen by others. If these is a simple way of dealing with the content (e.g. disliking or burying) you can use that. If the content becomes visible, and contains points addressed by your prepared statements, select the oldest variant unused on that site. Copy and paste. You may want to add a few extra typos or variations. Add a note to the variant that contains the name of the site.
12. You may use insults in your comment, but only proportionally to the quality of the rebuttals. In other words, if you have a very high quality rebuttal you may use a lot of insults, but if the rebuttal is low quality better stay polite.
13. Finally, here is a very important point. When you present valid evidence, truthers will typically do one of two things.
(a) They will ignore what you said and use other truther points (gish gallop)
(b) They will claim that your argument is invalid because the source is not good enough for them.
In case (a) insist that your argument be acknowledged. Ignore further arguments and repeat your point until it is acknowledged.
In case (b) ask the truther to provide an equally-valid source for their claims. They can't because all they have is Youtube videos and truther-reviewed publications. If they are interpreting data from a reliable source to support the inside job fantasy, ask for a reliable source supporting that interpretation.
Since we have truth on our side, there is no disadvantage in discussing these tactics publicly.
