Debating Dating - Claiming to address yet never do?

In several debates, you will bring up a point. Somebody arguing against you will claim to have addressed the point but neither is willing to post their argument again or link to their previous argument that is suppose to address that.



Now, I will grant that when a debate runs many pages, you will often have a hard time finding information or previous sources. Still, I think in most cases they never really addressed the point.



I am wondering if there is a term for that tactic?
