Despite Republican obstruction we have a Surgeon General

So, finally one lone Republicans thinks it better to have a surgeon general than continue their quest to get as many murder sticks out to the masses as possible. Could this be a sign that all Republicans are not irredeemably cruel and immoral? Probably not but a good development anyways.
