I saw what looked like a large needle shaped object, floating slowly between two banks of cloud, when I was at school. It was clearly visible for ten minutes at least and so large that it could not be mistaken for anything natural or man-made (The new wave of blimps weren't around at that time).
Now comes the 'strange' part. I saw the craft and watched it 'but' my school companions acted as if it wasn't there. That proves it was a hallucination, I hear you shout. Reasonable assumption 'but' a few years later I discovered this object was seen worldwide and mentioned in John Keel's book "UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse.":jaw-dropp
We see only a tiny amount of visible light according to science. Is it possible UFOs can exist outside the visible spectrum? Early research indicated that they could colour change as they came into view, from either end of the spectrum. Could it be that some people can 'see' light invisible to others and that this would explain it (any experiments on this does anyone here know?).
From my experience I have no proof that this was anything but a purely visual experience - in other words could some UFOs be just energy as was indicated by some of the Mexican wave sightings of a few years ago. It might explain the shape changing and the seemingly impossible maneouvres and speeds too.
Like a lot of witnesses to these events, I'm still trying to make sense of them, years later, looked at logically and scientifically:confused:
