WDDTY and WH Smith

This from Michael Marshall at Good Thinking:

'I wanted to get in touch as you may have noticed that we recently called on people to congratulate WHSmith for their decision to cease stocking the dangerous and misleading magazine What Doctors Don’t Tell You. We think that with the right level of support, WHSmith will be able to stand by their decision; however, there’s a good chance if they only hear from supporters of the magazine there’s a reasonable chance they will fold (as Tesco did) and reverse their decision. This could be significant, as estimates around subscriptions to the magazine show circulation figures to be low – with the right praise for those who see that the information in the mag could be quite dangerous, there’s a good chance the magazine could go bankrupt.

With that in mind, we’re asking people to take a minute to write to WHSmith expressing support for their decision. We’ve even prepared a form letter, which you can find here:

Would you mind sending your own letter, and encouraging people you know and members of the contacts lists from SitP groups you’ve run to do the same? Or pass this on to people who could? Once someone has sent a letter, we’re encouraging them to share the link to our page on Facebook, Twitter or over email, to encourage others to do the same.

Hopefully, if we’re able to offer our support to those who make the sensible decision on stocking this magazine, we can have a real and tangible effect.

Cheers!

Marsh'
