Well, I moved a bunch of my music files recently to a backup drive, and in so doing I took the liberty of organizing them a bit better. This led to some empty, no-longer-needed folders in the original location. I deleted all these folders except for one - but it's not for lack of trying!
This bugger really wants to hang around, and it's starting to drive me nuts. When I try to delete it, I get an error message claiming the folder is no longer located in that location. Which is a bit paradoxical, since I'm bloody looking at it!
This has happened a few times in the past, but as I recall the offending folder always (magically) disappeared on its own when I shut down and restarted the computer. Not this time! This ghost-folder has been hanging around for nearly two weeks. All subsequent attempts to delete it have failed in the same manner. You guys on here have always been very helpful with my computer troubles in the past. Any suggestions?
Oh also - yes, it's a PC. And yes, I know Macs probably don't have these issues. But I'm a poor student with birds to feed, and a new machine just isn't in the cards. :D
