How to remove voice from audio ?

I have been trying for several years to identify a music track to no avail. The track plays as background in an old Greek sitcom. Lately I've thought about removing the actors' voices and maybe have Shazam recognize it. Unfortunately the voices are much louder than the background music and Shazam can't work with that. I've tried several methods from around the web but the results were less than satisfactory. Any ideas on how to proceed ?
