Another near-collision between a commercial aircraft and a drone

An airliner descending through 5500 feet on an approach to land at Paris encountered a drone and had to maneuver to evade, with the pilots estimating that they cleared the drone by only a few meters. While not as prolific as laser incidents, drones are nevertheless a real danger that pilots are having to be increasingly wary of during departures and approaches to airports.
