Anybody here can read Chinese?

I don't know if this is an appropriate question for this forum, but I have no idea where else I could ask it.

I made an impulse buy of what I think is formally known as a cigarette tin, at what in the US is called a dollar store, or in the UK a pound store. In other words, a place that sells a lot of very cheap tat. I had hoped to use it as a visiting card case, but alas, it's just a bit too narrow for that. But I am sure I will find another use for it. Anyway, this box has an ironically-meant propaganda picture of Chairman Mao on it, with a string of Chinese characters underneath. Since I can't type Chinese characters, I can't use an online translator (I've on occasion used them from Chinese into English). They might be some genuine sloganeering from the period. On the other hand, they might as well be a string of obscenities, or pure gibberish, for all I know. So I was hoping that among the many smart people who visit this place, there would be some that can read Chinese and could offer a translation.

I've tried to reduce the picture I took in size to not impose on bandwidth, yet remaining readable (I hope). I can offer a higher-resolution version of just the text if required.
