MrsB is getting them routinely in the early hours and it's driving her nuts. And they go on for bloody ages until she doesn't even bother to go back to bed. It seems unrelated to room temperature, weight of bedding or activity during the day.
She's tried various folk remedies like salty snacks at night, plenty of water, avoiding both those things, quinine, sleeping in socks or ankle strapping and the like - no good. The doctor could only recommend magnesium supplements and they didn't help either.
The next step is a blood test, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience of this painful hassle and found a solution.
