The end of civilization as we know it.

I was just at a dairy queen a little while ago and some guy was writing or order by hand and filling it saying they could pay after the order was completed, he then bought a supervisor kid over to look at the register who gawked, scatched her head, then the both left with the line piling up. Looking at the card swiper I saw a bunch of data with the name MrSmileFace listed in the name line. They didn't try to explain anything or shut down the line the rest of them just kind of stood there around taking a break. I left but amazingly the rest of people in line just idly stood there as, around them, civilization, as found in an automated cash system, quickly ground to a halt.
