Demonstrating CO2 Greenhouse Effect on a Small Scale

The science behind the greenhouse effect is pretty easy. CO2 absorbs IR better than N2 or 02, so the atmosphere gets hotter if there's more CO2. That's right, or close, isn't it?

How much CO2 would you need to demonstrate it? I'm thinking of a "science fair" style experiment. A closed vessel. A heat lamp. Shine it in and measure the temperature. Evacuate the air and pump in CO2 at the same pressure. Reapply heat lamp. Measure higher temperature.

Can it be done? Or would you need a container the size of the Titanic?
