Really...I don't watch Television. My home doesn't even have a Television capable of recieving cable or public broadcasts (i.e., VHF, UHF). Haven't watched it for 7 years with the exceptions of having to watch it when I visit friends.
Now...every time I watch TV at a friends house, I am stunned: stunned at the insanity of it all (especially commercial TV). I can't believe I spent 45-freakin'-years of my life watching TV without realizing how cognitively dangerous it is. Seriously, after you've stepped away from TV for a few years and then watch a few hours of it, you will see it in a different way - and realize what madness it is.
Anybody care to relate a similar story?
