The Trump Administration, after removing the protections on Transgender people at school, at work, in the military and in prison, are now working on legislation to erase Transgender people from not on the US, but also worldwide through the UN!
After lying about protecting LGBTQ people, he and his administration has attacked them at ever possible turn, removing all the protections they can, and now they plan to create a legislative definition of Gender forcing people to be either male or female only, based entirely on the genitals they were born with.
Yes I am angry. ******* Republicans and their supporters are responsible for this travesty of a violation of people simply human rights to self determination.
And worse still they are trying to force the UN to remove any language that refers to Gender from its policy statements and Human Rights documentation.
This action has slipped under the radar with all the crap that is going on, but if it allowed to happen, it will be the equivalent to returning the US back to before Homosexuality was legalized. Transgender people will not be able to legally exist in the US. How ****** up is that?
I can't so a lot to stop it, and thank God it's unlikely to affect people over here, for the moment, but for the tens of thousands of Americans that it would affect, go and vote for them. Show Trump and his ****** up Administration that the USA won't stand for more civil rights denials, that people should be free to be who they are in the Land of the Free. Make a stand to show that everyone should be allowed to have self determination, and that Governments have no right to tell you who and what you are. This is the deepest and most personal violation of Human Rights, and anyone that refuses to stand against such a violation is just as guilty of breaching those rights of their fellow citizens, as the ****** up Administration that believes that they can determine people's gender for them and force it on them by law.
